After their latest set-back, Fogg, Abigail and Passepartout find themselves stranded on a desert island. Secrets are revealed and, with the clock ticking, they must learn to forgive and work together to make their next stop in time. Back in England, Bellamy and Fortescue receive some bad news.
Having failed so far to stop Phineas sneakily, bet counterpart Nyle Bellamy’s henchman Kneedling forces Fogg’s group on their journey to Japan into a lifeboat and launches it at night. They strand after a storm knocks it apart on an uninhabited island. Fogg confides into Abigail that he left bride Estelle to sail to the United States alone after running away from their planned honeymoon trip around the world at the last minute and regretting it ever since. After Passepartout confesses what he did, Fogg orders him away, refusing to share anything on the tiny island. To repay Phineas, he builds a raft tying vines to the wreckage timber by night in the rain, ending up sick. Fogg and Abigail tend to him, burning the raft for firewood to keep him warm.
