A macabre letter takes the investigation in a new direction, and Lars discovers that the British cops may not be who he thought they were.
The murder plot unveiled in the opening episode continues to stir reminiscences of a certain 19th century murder story from Whitechapel, London. Haaland and Eingennsdottir finds themselves having consorted with someone clearly not being the representatives of New Scotland Yard they were presenting themselves as. But are the preposterors villains or allies? Meanwhile, as Tore Hund struggles to make himself in control of the new life he thought he lived before his background as King Olaf’s bane was thrust upon him, he is inadvertently made a key part of King Olaf’s newfound plan to let the remains of his son be the vessel for proving his origin. Whilst this unravels, Eingennsdottir struggles with her own sleepwalking issues and contacts a Völva from her own origin that clears her worst fears of being subdued to a critical condition that affects to many time travellers. But who is the Völva really, apart from the Asatró priestess of Tore Hunds friends? And then, adding to Haalands burdens and struggling efforts to keep reality as it is supposed to be, his daughter Ingrid has something serious she needs to tell him.::Lars-Wilmer-Thomas
